When Independent Schools re-open after the summer break, many will have undergone changes in management resulting from the Supreme Education Council¹s recent decisions to alter rules governing the schools¹ private operators.
Under the new rules, schools will be run by a single individual who must be Qatari and have a professional background in education. The individual will act as a principal as well as operator.
Operators will set up non-profit educational institutes -- rather than the previously Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) -- and receive a regular salary based on a sliding scale since they will be required to work full-time at the school.

I had faith on the reform with promote entrepreneurship energy among those who thrive on challenges to make a difference in shaping young minds.
With all do respect to those on the education field, but the previous system did not allow them to blossom and develop the required skill set required to advance the education system. I am quite sure there are few cases which have those skills needed but the majority will suffer in the process of self development to achieve the required results.
I think soon will find out.
