First semester exam timetables released

The Evaluation Institute of the Supreme Education Council delivered timetables for the first semester exams for the academic year 2009-2010 to principals of all secondary, preparatory and primary independent, semi-independent, and private Arabic schools. Religious institutions, business and evening schools also received similar timetables.

First semester timetables are for all streams of schools from grades 1 through 12 in day schools, (general and private ), home school students, evening students, semi- independent students with a slight difference in timing and the length of the session.

The main exams will be conducted throughout this month untill the beginning of February 2010.

The exams will begin on January 10, 2010 with Arabic language, which includes spelling and Quran recitation in all the independent, semi-independent, private Arabic schools, religious institutions (secondary and preparatory), and business (secondary).
