SEC to penalize school for negligence

Initial reports by the high-level committee set up by the Minister of Education and Higher Education to look into the death of a four-year-old girl student of DPS-Modern Indian School last week point to the negligence of the school.

A press statement issued by the Supreme Education Council (SEC) said severe punishment to be announced once the ongoing criminal investigations are complete would be imposed on the school. Investigations have revealed that the school uses a number of buses and minivans without supervisors.
