As part of its plans to qualify and train Qatari nationals to join the teaching profession, the Supreme Education Council has announced the commencement of registration for Secondary and Primary School Education Diploma programs conducted in collaboration with Qatar University.
The courses will begin this fall and continue for three semesters (30 earned credit hours) where the trained teachers shall receive basic salary and social rewards. The acceptance criteria require applicants to have a bachelor degree or its equivalent from an accredited university (graduating minimally with credit), passing computer proficiency test or having ICDL, writing an essay and pass the personal interview.
