HE Mr. Saad Bin Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) recently toured the Qatar Comprehensive Educational Assessment (QCEA) scoring center situated in the College of Technology North Madinat Khalifa to view the test scoring procedures, which began in June 2010.

HE Al Mahmoud along with his delegation met with all supervisors and teachers in the test scoring committees for the four subjects - Mathematics, Science, Arabic and English. Discussions focused around procedures and measures to improve the scoring system and in particular, provide training.

HE Al Mahmoud was briefed on the scoring mechanism for each individual material.

The QCEA test scoring is conducted in accordance with the latest evaluation tools to promote the credibility and consistency of the results. National professionals with extensive experience in the education field do the scoring.
