Registration deadline for Bachelor of Education Program

The Supreme Education Council (SEC) has announced that the last day of submitting applications for the enrolling in the Bachelor of Primary Education program at the Faculty of Education at Qatar University is July 8, 2010. .

Opportunities were open for government school students with a 75 per cent score in the General Secondary School Certificate and for the independent schools' students who scored 845 marks in the Qatar Senior School Certificate provided that all students have scored a total of 450 marks in their TOEFL or 4 in the ILETS tests.

The Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the SEC has issued decision to form a committee to study the applications of candidates interested in joining the program. The committee will select the students who meet the requirements and their names will be sent to Qatar University for approval.

The SEC Human Resources Department will sign contracts with the selected students stipulating the responsibilities of both parties. The committee will prepare a report on the progress of the procedures to be submitted to the Minister within two weeks.
