Type: News Articles Date: 4 July 2010 HE Mr. Saad Bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Minister of Education and Higher Education and the Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) announced early Thursday, July 1, 2010 the results of the Qatar Secondary School Certificate taken by grade 12 students of the independent schools. HE Al Mahmoud said that this years results revealed a number of positive features compared with previous years particularly with regard to the number of students who have achieved high scores in all the subjects. The rate of success for the foundation level is ranging between 78 per cent in physics and 100 per cent in Arabic and between 81 per cent in mathematics to 98 per cent in Arabic language at the advanced level, underlining the students knowledge of the independent school system. HE Al Mahmoud went on to commend the efforts made by the secondary schools this year to get to these good results at both the foundation and advanced levels. He expressed his appreciation to all the sincere efforts made by all parties to the educational process and extended his best wishes to all the successful students wishing them success in the next phase of their lives whether at school or at work. The Evaluation Institute issued the results of the 3816 students online at: http://www.sec-nateeja.gov.qa/sem2x.aspx. Al Bayan, Amna Bit Wahab, Al Eiman, Al Khor and Al Resala Secondary Independent Schools for Girls got the best scores in the all subjects among the girls schools. Meanwhile, Abdulla Bin Ali Al Misnad, Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Thani, Al Doha Secondary Independent Schools for Boys received the best scores in all subject among the boys schools. |
