431 employees receive promotion to the next grade

An official from the Supreme Education Council has said that 431 employees from the former Ministry of Education and Higher education (grades II, III & IV) have been promoted to the next grade and increased their salaries by 10 per cent.

The source said that the promotions included school principals, in addition to agents and schools attorneys and supervisors.

Following the directives of HH the Heir Apparent to absorb all Qatari employees of the former Ministry of Education into the independent school system after the merger, HE Mr. Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud confirmed that the SEC will maintain the rights of all Qatari employees.
