In preparation for the national tests (Qatar Comprehensive Educational Assessment) to be held next June for students in schools from grades four to eleven, Evaluation Institute began to distribute pilot tests on the SEC website to help train students on the quality of those tests and how to answer.

The tests Included new additions in subjects of math and science in both Arabic and English, in addition to the social science tests for all grades in three levels, and students of the religious school classes from grade 7 until 11. It is expected that modules of other tests for all substances and all academic levels.

The Evaluation Institute has been keen the past few years to provide new models every year to train students and enhance their capacity to deal with the national tests. The aim of these tests is to provide a way to standardized measurement of the efficiency of the students, and measure the achievement of competencies, giving an overview of the educational performance of the education system, including schools and students, it also provides different mechanisms for analysis and research and development to help the SEC to take appropriate decisions, as well as to promote educational accountability and support the plan to develop education in the State.

The results of these tests is an assessment tool essential to monitor and follow up the progress of students and provide data enabling schools to continue to improve and develop the necessary development. Where the delivery of assessment reports for students and parents on their scores on these tests to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each of the four articles, in addition to sending a report to the teachers about the level of students in their ranks.
