Education Institute held a series of open discussions entitled “Let us communicate for a Brighter Future” with independent schools’ students , parents & employees in three separate sessions on November 13, 20 and 21, 2006 respectively. The one-on-one discussions focused on various aspects of Education For a new Era including textbooks, school buses, parental involvement, community engagement, and Islamic studies, to mention a few. This reflects the transparency policy adopted by the Education Institute.

The sessions, led by Ms. Sabah Al Haidoos, the Education Institute director and the directors of the various offices in the institute, addressed issues that affected independent schools’ stakeholders and responded to all enquiries raised by the audiences.

The meetings, in which a number of school operators participated aimed at communicating with stakeholders and give them voice to express their opinions had good attendance from both the respective audiences and the media. At the same time, Education Institute issued the Parents Guide, which includes all the information about independent schools and what the parents need to know.
