ACC begins training program for a new batch of counselors

The Advising & Career Development Center (ACC) started its training program for a new batch counselors aimed at developing the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective counselors and trainers to school counselors. The program, which is expected to last 130 hours, consists of several modules including an introduction to guidance & counseling, phases and techniques of career guidance & counseling, career interest inventories, and exploration of job world (fields of study & occupations).

Inn addition, the program will be dealing with all the aspects of the work of the counselors such as networking, outreach, marketing, customer services, effective presentation techniques and time management. Certificates will be awarded to each counselor once they complete their training course.
