Hamza Bin Abdul-Muttalib Preparatory Independent School for Boys participated in the education conference “ Perspectives of Technology in Education” recently organied by the Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) in collaboration with the College of the North Atlantic (CNA-Q).
Participants from Hamza School attended various workshops and lectures alongside the event. Some of the topics discussed in the workshops include the effective use of information technology in the teaching and learning methods and especially applying e-learning experience in schools. The conference also discussed using software (Internet) to teach mathematics and English language through a lecture on “the use of ICT to promote effective learning in the classroom" held by Dr. Cherie MacLeod, project manager at Reach Out To Asia. Hamza delegation comprised Mr. Saad Bin Isa, the deputy principal, Mr. Ahmad Al-Khatib, the information technology in charge, Emad Mohamed Mansour, the Media Coordinator, and a number of subject coordinators. |
