Individual Needs Committee visits Bilal

A delegation from the Qatar Association for Individual Needs (Aghsan) which takes care of children with special needs visited Bilal bin Rabah Model Independent School for Boys to familiarize themselves with the integration and implementation of the individual needs program at the school.

The visited aimed at identifying obstacles facing families with children with special needs and find ways to deal with them now and in the future. The visit also aimed to identifying the material and moral support provided by official bodies, the role families played, schools and community leaders to facilitate the process of reintegration.



The delegation met with the school principal Ms. Amal Al Buainain who gave a detailed explanation about the implementation of the program which offers flexible education according to the individual needs of each student.

The delegation included Mr. Issa Mohammed Al Isaac, the chairman of the Association, Ms. Moza Mohammed Al-Kubaisi, the Secretary General, and Ms. Salwa Al Shreim.
