Expo at Al Khaleej Al-Arabi

Alia Al Kholaifi, principal of Al Khaleej Al Arabi School recently inaugurated festival and expo entitled “Jerusalem, the capital of the Arabic culture for 2009” organized by the science department in the school.

The school administrative and teaching staff, students, parents, guests from Al Qadeseya Model Independent School for Boys, and Abu Ayoub Al Ansari Model Independent School attended the event.

The festival aimed at familiarizing the students with Palestine heritage, the importance of Jerusalem in Islamic context, and the importance of the Arabic culture. The event demonstrated the role of Qatar in rebuilding Gaza and the efforts exerted by HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Missned in the Al Fakhoora Campaign.

The exhibition included old and new photos of Jerusalem and Palestinian heritage productions. In the end they declared that the capital of Arabic culture move to Qatar in 2010.
