Six schools to offer parallel education

Student registration to begin May 30

Students’ registration for Qataris, GCC nationals, and the children of Qatari parents will begin May 30, 2010. Model schools will begin registration of newcomers in kindergartens and grade one elementary schools from May 30 until June 2, 2010. Girls’ primary schools will begin registration from June 8 – 13, 2010 from 4pm – 8pm in all Independent Schools.

Minister orders investigation into student’s death

Mr. Saad Bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council offered condolences to the family of the kindergarten child who died in school bus on Monday.
