200 students attend Al Fakhoora Int’l Conference![]() At least 200 students from around the world are taking part in a two day Al Fakhoora Campaign International Students Conference which was launched at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Students from Qatar, Palestine, Egypt, UAE, the UK and USA are participating in the conference entitled “Post Cast Lead: Defending the Freedom to Learn” which focuses on the challenges and right to education in Gaza and the West Bank. HE Saad Bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud met on Monday, November 23, 2009 with the Dutch Ambassador to Qatar. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the bilateral relations and ways to improve them. HE the ambassador expressed his admiration of the progress of education in Qatar and briefed the minister about the educational system in Holland.
