Education minister in Dubai education meet
HE Mr. Saad Bin Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council headed high official educational delegation comprising HE Mr. Mohammed bin Rabia Al Kaabi and a number of experts and consultants to participate in the third session of the World Education Forum and Exhibition of Educational Facilities being held in Dubai from February 23 - 25, 2010. The meeting includes a number of Ministers of Education in the Gulf and Arab countries and a group of education experts and major technology companies and institutes of global education

The Evaluation Institute of the Supreme Education Council has released the first of three studies discussing factors that affect educational outcomes for students in independent, former Ministry of Education and private Arabic schools in Qatar. The research study drew on data available through routine collections from 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08 academic years.

The Evaluation Institute delivered timetables for the first semester exams for the academic year 2009-2010 to principals of all secondary, preparatory and primary independent, semi-independent, and private Arabic schools. Religious institutions, business and evening schools also received similar timetables.
