School Mission
The first mission of our educational institution is creating a balanced, faithful person who seeks to gain Allah’s love and serves her religion. Our Mission attempts to define a person who is proud of humanity and the Qatari national identity while consistently striving for progress within instructional frameworks and draws upon religion and authentic values as a standard. Qatar political leadership provides a springboard for our mission making learning our primary objective. The learner becomes the priority within educational reform, while a movement toward vigilant, intelligent, thoughtful globalization is taking place. Our school’s role emerges as an effective one focusing on developing the potential inherent readiness of our students intellectually, psychologically, socially and physically. Our mission at the same time strives to meet our students’ immediate and future needs such as acquiring knowledge, self- realization, and leading a positive life while engaging in a comprehensive, diverse curriculum in science, technology and language and math.

Our institution will strive to encourage parent and community involvement recognizing their potential powerful influence on our local environment by supporting our civilization and values through diverse instructional and educational programs. We will strive to prepare our children to be lifelong learners, teaching the individual “how to learn” in an environment that promotes critical thinking, analysis, inquiry, problem solving, and decision making through the use of technology, and a teaching staff that maintains high expectations for all children. Having a positive congenial school climate develops trust and promotes excellence in an atmosphere of fun and innovation.

Borooq will have high expectations for all students and the belief that “all children will and can learn.” Our excellent resources, professional development, extra curricular activities, and our science curriculum, which provides both quantitative and qualitative measurable success, support our commitment to education.

Finally, our school will focus on the teaching of English Language Skills through science, math, and the English Language curriculum (reading, writing, spelling, listening, speaking) with the aim of preparing a generation capable of coping with future challenges. Our curriculum will also rely on the teaching of the Arabic Language, Islamic and Social Studies to foster values in humanity, preserve students’ identities, and to adhere to a national heritage which ensures the stability for Qatar and Qatar’s future generations.

Educational Goals
Our school strives to create new generations who have faith in Allah and preserve their faith as Muslim individuals.

  • With a solid, up-to-date curriculum, our school offers a broad range of core subjects, satisfying the requirements for National Examinations, as well as a variety of other classes to keep our students active, well-rounded, and interested.
  • We will build generations who believe in Allah and wish to maintain their Islamic faith.
  • We will ensure that our students master the English language and acquire the necessary skills to listen, speak, read, write and interpret effectively as individuals and in groups.
  • In using Problem-Based Learning, our students will develop critical thinking skills, effective decision-making, and encourage inquiry investigation. Our students will learn to question, interpret, and discriminate in order to develop logical, imaginative thinking. The use of modern technology will be our supporting factor.
  • Students will develop personal skills including goal setting, self-discipline, organization, time-management, respect, self-value, and learn to recognize and respect diversity through character education programs.
  • We will provide a healthy, safe, environment where students feel supported and free to express themselves creatively and academically.
  • We will build an atmosphere of trust and collaboration with the parents.
  • The school curriculum will be in alignment with the Qatari Curriculum Standards, developed by the Supreme Education Council, regarding instruction in Arabic, English, Math, and Science.
  • The curriculum provides a program in which students actively participate in a stimulating and enjoyable learning process which encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, inquiry, discovery, and creativity. It provides a wide range of courses appealing to the intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and ethical aspects of education.
