School Mission
"The highest function of education is to bring about an integrated individual who is capable of dealing with life as a whole."
This is the fundamental belief at Al Resalah Independent Secondary Girls School. Our mission is to provide all students with an approach to education and life in which they will acquire life skills, critical thinking and decision-making skills. We will empower all students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners and productive citizens embracing Islamic behaviour and culture. Through collaboration of staff and community we will create a learning focused school which will offer high academic standards in a safe, positive and nurturing environment that encourages leadership and community service as part of the student experience.

Educational Goals
To accomplish our mission, our school educational goals will be to:

• Encourage students to implement Islamic behaviour and culture in their daily lives and to respect others and their differences without judging them by nationality, or religion.
  
• Enable students to develop appropriate life-skills including communication, critical thinking, management, and social skills;
  
• Install citizenship qualities through various academic subjects and community service projects.
  
• Encourage students to meet academic and life challenges by enhancing their creativity, social skills and spiritual development through projects and strong community support and involvement.
  
• Encourage individuality by teaching and learning through multiple intelligences
  
• Embrace a high quality technology-rich environment which emphasizes Information and Communication Technology (ICT) use through a variety of programs for students, teachers, and administrative staff in various aspects of school life
  
• Encourage progressive participation in acquiring latest knowledge in education, technology and world affairs without compromising their own traditional cultural values and beliefs.
  
• Employ "best teaching practices" and appropriate educational resources which provide students the support and challenges they need to accomplish high academic achievement.
  
• Employ hands on training/job skills development with core academic subjects.
  
• Build partnerships with parents and community to support our goals and school policies.
  
• Employ highly-qualified staff that believes in our goals and are willing to set high standards and model good behavior to help improve the school community.

We believe that our collaborative and balanced approach to education will ensure that our students will be prepared to fulfill important roles in Qatar and abroad.

School Operator: Mrs. Jameela M. A. A Al Shabi
Bachelor of Education (1984), Masters degree in Curriculum & Teaching Methods (1995), Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies and a Diploma in Teaching (1980), all from Qatar University. Mrs. Al Shabi has over two decades experience as a teacher, supervisor and principal. She has attended seminars, workshops and training courses in the education domain such as Education & Learning Strategies and Teachers and Teaching Methods.
