Educational Plan

School Mission:
To provide students with educational materials that enable them to invest their abilities to cope with the current development and mounting world. Hence, preparing them for excellence and creative skills as well as critical thinking equipped with high technology for the benefit of their country, nations and the Islamic world.

Our aims will be to:

  • Provide a high quality public education for students in a bilingual environment
  • Develop students’ perceptions to enable them to further their knowledge and meet modern life challenges, and be armed with knowledge and good manners.
  • Develop in students a pride in their culture and their nation
  • Develop in students a pride in their school, their learning and their study.
  • Create self-confident students who have positive values and who are proud of their success.
  • Build in students an open-minded approach to multi culture and the diversity of modern societies.

Our mission will be achieved through:
  • Developing strong consistent behaviour and discipline procedures for staff and students
  • Introducing a uniform for students to wear with colours that represent year levels in order to build respect with their school and respect for the rules and for their learning
  • Recruiting competent, experienced teachers who are creative and cooperative and have good management skills
  • Planning and implementing relevant Professional Development for teachers and management including English language support and training.
  • Educating the parents to know how they can be involved in their sons’ learning
  • Implementing curriculum that integrates technology across all the subjects
  • Introducing curriculum that addresses the present and future needs and interests of the students including the focus areas of Arabic, English, Mathematics and Science.
  • Making all subjects that are studied valued, by building in regular weekly testing programs and numerical assessment for each subject taken by the student
  • Providing instructional and educational environments through a sound Islamic value system that will encourage creativity and individual student’s development.
  • Providing all students with social, psychological and academic support.
  • Using technology and modern means of communication and analysis of data to serve teaching and learning processes, and in communication with the community.
  • Introducing a variety of means and techniques to enhance all aspects of the student’s personality and character.
  • Accepting and encouraging support from parents, business and community in meeting the school’s objectives

Educational Goals - (with a focus on Grade 10 and 11 in 2006/2007)
  • Increase students’ knowledge to be fluent in Arabic and English Languages (reading, writing and oral and written expression).
  • Enable students to study Science, Mathematics, English, Arabic according to SEC Standards
  • Enable students to enhance their skills in the use of computers
  • Develop critical and creative thinking skills and problems solving skills through curriculum and additional programs and activities.
  • Enable students to use modern technological skills and means of communication in the teaching and learning process.
  • Develop social and communication skills to enable students to communicate with their society and to be open minded to other cultures.
  • Develop students’ artistic and aesthetic appreciation through art programs.
  • Develop in students positive values and tendencies towards health and hygiene, the environment in which they live, society and self-learning and attitude to study.
  • Implant religious and spiritual values of Islam in students to encourage them to feel proud of their Islamic and Arab identity.
  • Prepare students for future learning, profession, employment and life style

School Operator: Mr. Hassan Mohamed Abdulla Hijji Al-Baker
Bachelor degree in Arts & Education (Geography) from Qatar University (1989) and a diploma in English Language (1991). Mr. Al-Baker has more than 15 years experience in the Education domain and has been involved in a lot of training courses in the field.
