Vision:
Students who leave school will be able to take decisions based on knowledge, science and values. They will be able to plan for their future, effectively use modern technology and meet their needs, in relation to their nation and society.
Mission:
Our school aims at developing loyal Qatari citizens who embrace Islamic traditions and behavior and who also respect the beliefs and attitudes of others, cooperating together to help create a better and a peaceful world. Their cultural and technological knowledge will enable them to learn well by themselves and develop their creativity. This school is planning to serve girls in grades one through six.
Goals:
Through a student-centered learning model, Al Falah will establish a positive educational environment, where it can meet students’ psychological, emotional and physical needs. As such, the school strives to:
-
Enrich students’ knowledge through cultural activities.
-
Encourage and motivate students to write, research, read and think critically.
-
Enhance cooperation through group work and collaborative learning activities.
-
Provide students with enriching activities throughout the community that connect with their classroom curricula, encouraging greater respect and understanding of others and presenting them with a variety of examples of model citizens and Muslims.
-
Help students acquire foreign language skills.
-
Improve students’ creative-thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-
Foster a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
-
Train students to become lifelong learners.
-
Help students connect to the environment by presenting them with opportunities to care for foliage at school and recycle.
-
Encourage parental involvement in their daughters’ education by providing monthly reports and regular opportunities to meet with teachers and invitations to serve as trustees.
-
Motivate students to succeed by honoring achievers with positions on the honor board.
-
Employ teachers to serve as guides, facilitators, helpers, monitors and motivators through the learning process, who do not lecture but rather lead students to learn by themselves, through a variety of activities aimed at developing their abilities, talents and creativity.
