Our school aims to provide an effective educational environment that prepares our students to be individuals characterized by Islamic manners and proud of their high national Qatari identity and possess skills and scientific and technological knowledge that qualifies them to participate effectively in building and developing Qatar society.

To create a learning environment, characterized by excellence and creativity, to bring about a generation of well-mannered and highly educated graduates who are capable to cope with state-of-the art technology.

Educational Goals:

• The school will ensure that students are encouraged to develop to their full potential by fostering a generation that practises the Islamic faith, upholds values consistent with Islam and with Qatari society, achieve comprehensive (physical, emotional, academic) development of learners, enhance positive values, application of ICT , identifying their talents, interests and strengths and developing them further, and teaching the students the art of dialogue, how to hold objective discussion and being able to accept others’ opinions through development of their communications skills.

• Classrooms will reflect the students’ interaction in the learning process as they are the core of the educational process; provide a flexible environment, respecting diversification and individual differences among students regardless of their social characteristics; provide a safe and supportive environment where students are well-cared for academically, psychologically, physically, spiritually and socially; be stimulating where talented, creative and gifted students are sponsored; enabling them to explore and develop their unique talents; provide an environment where thinking is stimulated, where students’ ideas and views are respected, and where dialogues and free positive discussions are encouraged and’; provide an educational environment where a range of modern teaching techniques, are applied to support the learning of all students.

• The school will be measurably accountable for high performance standards through the implementation of the national curriculum standards for students and teachers, standards in terms of Qatari staff, reporting regularly to parents about their children’s progress, reporting to the Board of Trustees regarding educational, legal and financial matters, and conducting a School Self Review to monitor the school’s progress towards achievement of the mission and vision.

• Ensure parental involvement and be responsive to their needs through regular communication between teachers and parents, inviting them to take part in different activities, programs and celebrations held at school, conduct forums, lectures and awareness campaigns, handling different aspects of education, with a view to enhance awareness of the importance of communication with the school.

• The school will develop young people who are prepared for the next level of education by developing the student’s four basic skills; reading, writing, conversation and listening in Arabic and English, helping students to acquire self-learning, scientific thinking, research and investigation skills, developing students’ knowledge of mathematics, science and computer skills and improving the students’ skills of communication and acceptance of others’ views.

• The school will promote Islamic faith, values and national aspirations by delivery of the Islamic education syllabus and Holy Qur’an classes and prayer classes, linking students with the Qatari heritage and history through school subjects such as Social Studies and extra curricular classes, implementation of several programmes and activities relating to Islamic values and principles on different national and religious occasions.
