Our school aims to provide an effective educational environment which prepares our students to be proud, confident, young Muslim women leaders, responsible citizens, and knowledge seekers who seek to contribute to the wider world. age.

Mission
Our mission is to contribute to the development of an influential group of young, enlightened, adaptable and successful individuals by equipping them with knowledge, skills, attitudes and values needed to assume future roles of responsibility in all walks of life. They will be guided by their religion and will be proud of their ethics, morals and their sense of belonging to the wider Arab world.

Educational goals

  • Ensure that students are encouraged to develop to their full potential by promoting creativity, analytical thinking, competence in mathematics and science, mastery of the concepts and skills in the curriculum standards and beyond, and honing their problem solving, critical thinking, enquiry and reasoning skills.
  • The environment will be focused on learning that is going to be maintained through providing positive learning environment free of disruptions, ensuring that students, parents staff and the board understand and fulfil their responsibilities, and apply (or follow) a policy which reinforces the concepts of self-discipline and the acceptance of personal responsibility.
  • The school will be measurably accountable for high performance standards through planning based on the national curriculum standards, recruiting knowledgeable, experienced staff who are willing to put the school’s policies into practice, providing support and appropriate professional development for teachers to help them meet the national professional standards for teachers and supporting students with learning difficulties to help them gain confidence by capitalizing on any areas of strength they have and catering for skills they need to acquire.
  • The school will ensure the involvement of parents in their children’s education and be responsive to their needs through communication with parents through interviews, sms, monthly newsletters, calling them on any issue of interest for the students, board of trustees elections, regular meetings with parents, involving parents in school committees and inviting parents to attend classes with their children and observe them learning and interacting with their peers and regular reports on academic and behavioural performance of students to be sent to parents
  • Amna Bint Wahab Preparatory School for Girls will develop young people who are prepared for the next level of education by encouraging the highest achievement levels, creating a safe and secure learning environment, applying collaborative learning in a way that engages students in high level learning at the same time as developing their social skill, encouraging critical thinking skills and enquiry based learning, with an emphasis on activity based learning as well as encouraging group activities, with students taking on roles and responsibilities within those groups.
  • The school will nourish the Islamic faith, values and national aspirations by offering a clear and satisfactory Islamic Studies curriculum, teaching of Values as a school subject, planning for lectures, forums and activities that implant national and Islamic values, involving students in national events, designing community service programmes and encouraging students to join, teaching has to correspond to the national curriculum standards of the State of Qatar, Islamic and Social Studies are both mandatory subjects that all students have to study, and implement a school behavioural policy that encourages good behaviour which is mostly driven from our Islamic religion.
