School Mission
Qatar Technical School strives for continuous innovation and improvement
of all of its programs in technology and applied sciences, and to be recognized
as a center for excellence and competence in professional education and
vocational training.
Qatar Technical School will provide programs in engineering technology, IT, and
commercial fields at secondary school level (grade 10-12) for the population of
Doha and its suburbs. It will also provide further training programs to
employees of the Qatari labour market. The teaching and training activities at
secondary level programs are conducted as a mix of 50% classroom learning
covering general academic subjects as well as specialized (trade related)
subjects. The other 50% of the program is dedicated to hands-on
workshop/laboratory training. The complex is integrating attractive, effective
and advanced programs with hands-on practical training with state-of-the-art
facilities to provide its students with adequate experience as well as basic
academic and technical skills to enter specialized tertiary education
institutions. The graduates will be qualified with additional skills and
capabilities for life-long learning, work planning, problem solving,
decision-making and commitment to industrial safety and environmental
protection.
Qatar Technical School provides the Qatari society and economy with well-trained
work force on a technical level that matches with the current and future needs
of the Qatar labour-market, as well as with the expectations of all
stakeholders.
Qatar Technical School is committed to sustainable excellence with respect to

atmosphere, cooperation with authorities and partners, involvement and
empowerment of staff and students, leadership, management and administration.
Our aim is to provide a balanced and broad curriculum, which prepares all
students for the requirements of a technological age. Our curriculum will aim to
meet the requirements of the SEC Curriculum Standards in full. In addition to
the core curriculum, the students will be offered a variety of technical
subjects and opportunities for practical experiences.
