Teachers

The role of teachers is critical to the education reform effort.  Qatar’s new Independent Schools will rely on highly qualified and enthusiastic classroom leaders who possess a deep understanding of subject matter, employ proven contemporary techniques in their teaching, and can motivate students to perform to their highest potential.  Each Independent School will have the freedom to hire its own teaching staff.

Professional development opportunities and teacher training will be provided to Independent School teachers at every phase of their careers, whether they are just starting out or are seasoned professionals.
