name Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned is the Consort of His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned was born in Qatar. After completing her school studies, Her Highness enrolled at the University of Qatar to study sociology and graduated in 1986.

Her Highness's work has been recognized internationally by two honorary doctorates from Virginia Commonwealth University and Texas A&M University, as well as by appointment from UNESCO as Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education.

A public figure with important responsibilities, Sheikha Mozah shares her husband's vision to make Qatar a prosperous, developed and sustainable society. She works to establish centers of excellence and enable opportunities for the people of Qatar. Sheikha Mozah leads a wide range of initiatives in Qatar, particularly in the areas of family, education, science, community development, health and cultural heritage.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah holds a number of official posts in Qatar and abroad.

Forum of expat Arab scientists to explore partnership

A conference of expatriate Arab scientists — working across the world — was opened in Doha yesterday by Her Highness Shaikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Misnad Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and SEC's vice chair.
