Student individual report includes information about students’ academic progress and the strengths and weaknesses in their performance, according to the results of Qatar Comprehensive Educational Assessment for year 2006, which differs in its objectives and design than the classroom tests. The individual report provides parents with additional information about their children’s educational performance to follow up their progress and improve their performance.

It also provides teachers with information, which enables them to compare between the students’ performance progress from one year to the other.

The report includes scale scores’ results of each individual student. It also contains information that determines the students’ achievements in a classroom according to three levels of performance:

  • Meeting standards
  • Approaching standards
  • Below standards

Nearly 70,000 students from grade 4 -11 from Ministry of Education, Private, and Independent Schools participated in QCEA tests. The tests included the four curriculum standards subjects Arabic, English, Mathematics and Science. The reports also encourage parents, students, and teachers to discuss the results, properly understand their contents, and cooperate to take them seriously in terms of helping develop the students’ performance.
