Use this list to check that you have taken all the necessary steps to apply
for scholarship:
- Read the requirements of the
scholarship programs
fully.
- Apply to more than one of the universities that are accredited by the
Higher Education Institute (between 6-8 universities). Search information
about the HEI's
official universities.
- Understand fully the requirements of the universities you want to apply
to.
- Read the applications of the universities you want to apply to before
filling them out (you could apply for universities on-line).
- Check the application deadlines of the different universities you want to
apply to.
- Ask your school or university to prepare your transcripts for grades 10,
11 and 12 (for high schools) or those of the Bachelor or the Master degree
(for graduate students) in sealed envelopes.
- Ask your teachers to prepare good
recommendation letters based on the major you
want to apply to (usually universities require between two to three
recommendations).

Prepare a good essay to explain more about
yourself based on the question asked by the university.
- Sit for the TOEFL and any other required test (SAT, GRE, GMAT etc…).
- Choose the major that meets your interests, abilities, values and that
meets the needs of the labor market.
- Once you gain acceptance from one of the HEI accredited universities,
visit the
Advising and Career Development Center to
submit all the required documents and to get further instructions on
how to apply for the scholarship program.
- Fill out the HEI form for applying for the scholarship using your national
ID number.
- You will receive an automatic e-mail providing you with a user name for
filling out the on-line application
- Go to the following website:
https://www.students.education.gov.qa
- Enter your user name and password that you received by e-mail.
- On the next page put the old password
- Create a new password:
- Confirm the new password by typing it again.
- Fill all the 7 pages application.
- Documents needed:
- Six photos
- Copy of the national ID
- Copy of the passport
- Copy of the Secondary
School Certificate / or the last diploma attained
- TOEFL score report
- Once you get accepted you will be called by the ACDC to complete the
further steps involved in getting the scholarship.
