The voucher will cover all or part of the school’s tuition fees. Vouchers can be used toward tuition fees only, but NOT for books, transportation, boarding, or other miscellaneous fees.

The voucher will be paid directly to the participating school and the school will charge parents for any remaining tuition and fees. Schools will reimburse parents for the voucher if the parents have already paid the schools tuition fees.

If the amount of tuition is higher than the voucher amount, parents are responsible for paying the remainder.

If the amount of the tuition is lower than the voucher amount, schools will only receive the amount of the tuition.

The school will be required to sign a contract agreeing to charge students in the Educational Vouchers Program the same tuition fees that are charged for all other students.

Admission and Withdrawal Policies
A Student is eligible for one voucher per school term. If a voucher student withdraws or is expelled from his or her participating voucher school and joins another voucher school, the student is not eligible for another voucher from the SEC until the following term.

Parents whose children start at a participating private school after a term has started will have an opportunity to apply for a voucher for their child from the date they joined the school.
